It took us a while but now it’s time to boost the first AS USUAL MUSIC release by our all-time companion and good friend AANTIGEN. The man behind this alias is a free, open-minded music lover and moreover a musician with an unconven0onal and real artistic approach. Releases on labels like Bar25
Music, Acht or Möhre Rekorder marked his path so far.
The California EP comes with two lively and proactive originals and a collabora0on with AS USUAL label head BEE LINCOLN, all made for the love of dance aesthetics on club floors.

California is a highly anticipated work with a special sense of serenity, where cozy warm deepness meets subliminal tension and a little extra portion insanity through crispy sounds. While everything
is flowing, a subtle acid line sneaks in and offers sub-harmonically a dirt-factor.

The heart of AS USUAL MUSIC beats especially for twisted and freakin’ tracks, which AANTIGEN provides with Somebody Like You – a nasty club tune for ripping the floors. An extraordinary giantlycurved synth sequence drives the madness to the peak, stimulated by whipped claps and a low-end on point, as the backtracked voice stabs are just the leftovers of this wild ride with its hilarious taste.

The third one Front Of House turned some rounds until it found its calling; aaracted by the slightly sawed synth bass of this track, Bee Lincoln twisted Aantigen’s modulated hook and got it ready for a trip. After (no) sleepless nights, here we are with the collaborative advanced mix, flushed by A’s inglorious idea and B’s dry’n tight drumming skills. Ending up in partly acidic-like sounds and emphasizing basses, the result is a stripped-down pumpin’ and shakin’ track on a quite oblique position,
